De Nieuwe Uri Geller plot

In this program the search is on for the successor of mentalist Uri Geller, someone who can perform similar acts. In the first episode, five people show their act, four of which continue. In the second episode, the second group of five people shows their act, after which another four people continue. Uri Geller is present on every episode and can guarantee immunity to the person whose act he most valued. The other candidates are eliminated by the voting public. In the end, a winning person will be left. During the third season, a preliminary round with a jury was introduced. Viewers' experiences are also discussed during the broadcast. For example, films are shown of strange events that they experienced during the broadcasts.
