Beter! plot

Residents of Dutch working-class neighborhoods have an average of fourteen healthy years less to live, compared to residents of other neighborhoods. Presenter Antoinette Hertsenberg helps Tony, Sevda, Jolanda and Corina, four residents of the working-class suburb of Voorstad in Deventer, to live a healthier life. They receive help from the local GP Kees Pricker and lifestyle coach Meriel Hendriks. The team rents a space in the neighborhood association 'De Driehoek' as a base. There the residents show how they live and what choices they make in the field of health. They all want to lead a healthier life, but that is not easy in practice.
