Alma plot
Alma tells the story of Alma, who survives a freak bus accident that killed nearly all of her other classmates. She then wakes up in the hospital without a single memory of the accident. Alma suffers from amnesia: she has also lost the memories of her past. She tries to find out what happened and who she is. With the help of not only her parents, but also her friends (whom she doesn't know anymore) she will try to unravel the mystery. At the same time, however, she is vexed by nightmares and ominous visions.

I saw this series after the fantastic Swedish true series Riding in Darkness, and when I compare it there is still a level difference. But for a Spanish series this was certainly not bad, usually the acting is rather poor but this was not the case this time. It was quite suspenseful, those folktales at the beginning of each episode weren't the best, but the series was still worth it....

While I love stories with esoteric aspects, it didn't have to make the series exciting and intriguing. Without that part, it's already interesting. Although it seems that with more series it is not so easy to stick to a simple story. In the first episode I already saw several possibilities in which direction it could go.
Also the twins could just as well have been two sisters or girlfriends. I notice that twins are often used to make something supposedly more interesting, but I usually find it too forced.
Despite these points, it works and I also think it's a great series. The tone was immediately set with that first episode. I had hoped that the story would be told in one season, but I am very curious what they will make of it in the second season. Enough to pick up!
