Fort Boyard, shot on the fortress of the same name between the island of Aix and the island of Oléron, is a game show in which a team of candidates perform various physical and intellectual tests (speed, agility, stamina, strength, etc.) It is surrounded by the "population of the fortress", which enhances the mysterious and fantastical atmosphere of the place.
