The Worst Witch plot

The Worst Witch is an adaptation of the Jill Murphy book series. Mildred Hubble is a girl who desperately wants to go to the Cackle Academy witch school. However, when she gets through the rigorous selection process, it soon becomes apparent that life at the witch school isn't always easy. Especially not when another student, Ethel Hallow, turns out to be out to make Mildred's life as difficult as possible. Mildred goes on all kinds of adventures with her new friends.
