In 1989, five teenage boys went to New York's Central Park in the evening. That same night, in that same park, jogger Trisha Meili was brutally raped and left for dead. The police soon arrested the five and their convictions were already a fact in 1990, with allegations of rape and assault. For years, the boys, their families and their lawyers battled to prove their innocence. This only worked in 2014, after they had to spend all that time in prison.
