The Gulf plot
Detective Jess Savage is recovering from amnesia caused by a shocking car accident. Jess is visited in the hospital by Justin Harding who tells her that one of her old cases is being re-examined. A small boy, Nathan Baum, who was found presumed dead in an investigation she led, has been found and the boy has handed over her business card to police. According to Harding, Nathan was kidnapped five years ago and kept in captivity and sexually assaulted all along.
