The Guardian plot

The crime series The Guardian follows Nick Fallin, a pompous, ambitious lawyer employed by his father's law firm, Fallin & Associates, in Pittsburgh. One day, his world collapses when his drug test turns out to be positive. He is sentenced to three years' probation, a $10,000 fine and 1,500 hours of community service as a defense attorney for deprived children within the pro bono firm "Children's Legal Services".
