The Flying Doctors plot

The young, ambitious doctor Tom Callaghan moves from the big city to Coopers Crossing, a small town in the Australian outback. He struggles to adapt to the locals, who find him arrogant and urban. The sophisticated advertising photographer Liz Drever also has a hard time in Coopers Crossing. She is used to New York, and a greater contrast is hardly conceivable. The two are drawn to each other.
