The first episode is an instant hit. Interesting plot and intriguing. As the episodes follow, more and more drama is involved and the characters show their most tragic side. The story also gets more and more unbelievable and halfway through the fun is almost over.

Solid series, with lead actress Kaley Cuoco in particular who does a very good job (I've never seen a full episode of The Big Bang Theory!). Michiel Huisman, on the other hand, is less suitable for a comedic role (although it was not too bad with that comedic role).
For the other roles also some actors/actresses that I already knew from other series. I know Zosia Mamet from Girls; Michelle Gomez from the absurd British comedy series Green Wing. The actor who played Shane also looked familiar to me, but I can't immediately put a series or movie on it.
The plot itself left me mostly cold, but I did enjoy the humor at times, especially Drunk I found Cassie very amusing. The side plots weren't very interesting either. All in all it was nice to watch, but not much more. I wouldn't be surprised if a second season is in the works (given some ridiculous twists in this season, that's possible), but I'm not really looking forward to it.

The series is well-acted by Cassie, whose facial expressions convey the humor beautifully. Her chaotic nature is well-developed through her childhood and her experiences. I thought Huisman was well cast. She's clever, but a bit creepy. Season 1 also ends quickly. Season 2 continues, so it's not completely disconnected. A completely different story, but the same chaos of Cassie makes it enjoyable. The supporting cast is also good, though less than the first. Sometimes it's a bit tiring watching Cassie live and make choices. But she plays it well, and that saves the season.
