The 4400 plot

The 4400 tells the story of 4400 people returning to Earth. The series follows people coping with traumatic changes, all driven by the mystery of what happened to them and why. Some of them have changed in a remarkable way. Good and evil forces have been distributed. The series begins with a large ball of light approaching Earth. Instead of catastrophic consequences, thousands of missing people appear, with no memory of what happened. All of them have not aged a day, while there are people who have disappeared for years.

I really thought this was one of the best sci-fi series at the time, such a shame that it was canceled by that writer strike... Good and exciting story, unfortunately we will never know how it all went...
