Testify plot

Charismatic young pastor David Jacobson clashes with his father, who rules the evangelical Avow Church in Auckland with an iron fist. David wants the church to become more socially inclusive. Along with his estranged half-brother Paul and queer podcaster Dana, he investigates corruption and historical sexual abuse within the church. David is forced to question issues such as faith and loyalty to his family.
