Systrabönd plot
The skeletal remains of a young girl who disappeared 25 years ago are found in a quarry in Iceland. When the priestess Elisabet, the chef Anna Sigga and the nurse Karlotta hear the news, their quiet lives are shaken. All their lives they have carried the heavy burden of guilt over a horrifying secret from their past.

Some familiar faces from other Icelandic movies and series play the roles in this interesting and good series. I'm not going to repeat names; how do they come up with that...
If you read the plot above you already know for a large part what this is about. A fascinating story although predictable what the result would be regarding the three ladies of the sisterhood. The last episode was unfortunately a bit too slow. Elizabeth's interrogation made up for that. Filmed in beautiful locations.
