Seven Types of Ambiguity plot

Sam is six years old and is kidnapped when he comes home from school. His parents Joe and Anna are in a panic. Fortunately, Sam is quickly found unharmed. The police arrest ex-teacher Simon, but the case is far from resolved. Simon is Anna's ex-lover. Neighbor and possible accomplice Angela has an intriguing affair with Joe. Slowly, Simon's psychiatrist and Joe's best friend also become involved in the situation. It is no longer a question of who took Sam, but why Sam was taken.
