Scrubs season 1

Also for me childhood sentiment. Scrubs has everything that can make a series fun. A sympathetic main character who has very funny daydreams, some eccentric but very funny side characters (notably Dr. Cox and the Janitor) and a hospital setting that is a constant source of fun and/or interesting situations, making the series never falls into the error that at some point it's all about the relationships.

The series also has serious moments, of course, but unlike most other hospital series I know, this is of course a comedy. And yet, when I ask people who actually work in a hospital what they think of this series, the answer is unanimous: the most realistic hospital series when it comes to portraying the relationships between surgeons, doctors, nurses and management. Quite ironic, given the serious nature of the other series.

In any case, this first season is very entertaining. Some characters have not yet reached their peak (such as the Janitor), but nevertheless there are hardly any weak moments. 3.5*.
