Resident Alien plot
An alien named Harry makes an emergency landing on Earth. Harry takes on the identity of a doctor and begins to live a simple life in a small Colorado town. Things get a little tricky, though, when he tries to solve a local murder and realizes he must assimilate into his new world. Slowly, he begins to grapple with the moral dilemma of his secret mission on Earth - eventually asking the question, "Are humans worthy of being saved?"

A highly entertaining series. Packed with humor, drama, romance, crime, sex, detective work, and of course, sci-fi.
Human idiosyncrasies and weaknesses are beautifully (and sometimes quite exaggerated) exposed.
Each character has its own personality and history.
It's wonderful to see Alan Tudyk in the role of the bumbling alien. The other actors are also very good.
Unfortunately, only the first two seasons are available on Netflix.

Towards the end of this 2nd season, it is clearly all a bit less, with certainly the 16th episode being a bit of a low point. I fear that the 3rd season will continue on this. Maybe you've just had it after 20 episodes?
Up to episode 10 I easily give a nice 7/10, but for episodes 11 to 16 it is more of a small 6, so a total of about 6.5/10, I will go for 3.5 instead of 3/5.
