Quantico season 1

Disappointment.

Plot really appealed to me, but the execution is very disappointing. A lot of switching back and forth between different times which is not only confusing, but also made it difficult for me to go along well with the storyline. Also many love affairs that are not very interesting, probably partly because the future images already give away how it will end. Those images of the future also ensure that more Quantico images do not have the desired effect, the fake bomb in Quantico during a training to name just one example. Furthermore, Quantico often felt more like a teenage summer camp than an FBI training camp, the acting wasn't always good and the season could have been better with a few episodes less.

That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy Quantico at all, though. I did enjoy some training sessions in Quantico and the secrets that were hidden there (although it was a bit of a shame that they sometimes seemed to have little to do with the common thread, which turned out to be the case[/ spoiler]). The future images could also be quite enjoyable, especially when things were a bit more action-packed. Other than that, the oversight looked great and the revelation at the end makes up for it too, pleased that they haven't spun this story out for another season.

Quantico season 3

I liked it more than the disappointing second season, it headed for 4*. However, the series finale is not really satisfying. Of course the main lines are closed, but you notice that they didn't dare to give the series a real conclusion and tried to keep an opening for a possible sequel and that did not give a satisfying feeling and was a stain on the rest of the season. Not everything has to end well or even have a definitive ending, but I still wanted to know what happened to Ryan, for example. Did he wake up or did he eventually die from his injuries? This is something that deserved a closure for the viewers.

Otherwise a good season. I thought the switch to separate stories worked out well for each episode. In the end you only followed one story in the last episode, but that was also very well put together. A bit predictable here and there, but also a number of points that you didn't see coming. Drama and crime perfectly combined this season. And finally that annoying love affair between Alex and Ryan gone, I was a bit tired of that.
