Pistol plot

Miniseries that revolves around the iconic band Sex Pistols, and takes the viewer back in time to the messy and exciting beginnings of the band and the punk world in England. The Sex Pistols' band members were all working-class youngsters who had had enough: they were forgotten by politics and the royal family, and in the meantime realized how corrupt many things were. Their own future seemed lost, and they expressed those frustrations in their music. This resulted in a gigantic musical and cultural change.

Lively, enthusiastic miniseries about the legendary punk band Sex Pistols. Director Danny Boyle is the right person for the job and makes it a very entertaining, energetic series. The first and last episodes are a bit weaker and the plot and characters are not convincing everywhere, but the striking time period and the boundless energy that bursts from the screen make up for a lot.
