Without having seen season 1, it makes little sense to start this second season. In the first part of this second season, we quickly get to see what the opening scene from the first season is about. Still, the start of the second season is strange and there are a number of people missing with whom the first season ended. Looking further, however, is rewarded; during the other 4 episodes everyone is discussed again. The conclusion of this second season contains a slightly better ending, which leaves enough material for a third season. For me, this second season scores slightly better; there's a bit more tension here and there and the ending is more satisfying. You get used to the eccentric community in which the story takes place.
