Paper Giants: Magazine Wars plot

In the 1980s and 1990s, Nene King and Dulcie Boling in Australia headed the Packer Empire's Woman's Day magazines and the Murdoch Empire's New Idea, respectively. Both women pull out all the stops to create the best-selling magazine of the two: from Camilla-gate, to Squidgy-gate, to Sarah Ferguson's topless photos. All kinds of boundaries were sought and then crossed. Checkbook journalism was rampant.
