Tony Verbruggen was a court journalist for a quality newspaper, but was fired there after a bribery scandal in which he kept information from the newspaper for a fee. Now he has to take a job at the thrill-seeking magazine Express. Editor-in-chief Danielle Polspoel does not shy away from lying, as long as the language remains simple and sensational. Tony's wife Isabelle kicked him out. Only his daughter Eva still cares about her father's fate.
