After a strong and surprising beginning, this family drama sinks far into the mire of corruption, intimidation and abuse of power. Or worse. The story is about a newspaper and steel magnate (Gere) who has entrusted his son (Howle) with part of his media company. And that's not going very well. Although I certainly didn't think the series was bad, the screenplay goes in all directions. Since Berlusconi, Trump and Ailes (The Loudest Voice, top series) we don't look at anything anymore, the focus is missing here. Howle plays the tiles of the roof, McCrory and Gere can not convince me. For those who think, my family is full of weirdos, it can't get any worse: watch this series. To everyone else I like to suggest Thicker Than Water's The Split of S1.
