Monster plot

Jeffrey Dahmer was arrested in 1991 when police discovered several body parts, including severed heads, and numerous Polaroids of mutilated bodies in his Milwaukee apartment. The killer confessed to killing at least 17 people while evading police for a long time during his killing spree spanning 13 years. He was sentenced to 16 life terms, but was eventually murdered in 1994 by another inmate. Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story will expose these unscrupulous crimes centered around the underserved victims and their communities affected by the systemic racism and institutional failure of the police force that allowed one of America's most notorious serial killers to continue his murderous acts for more than a decade. without getting caught.

Monster season 1

No idea where all the fuzz around this series comes from. Just find it very average and on the bland side. It never gets really gross or gruesome. I also don't like a number of cinematographic and story-technical choices, such as the choice to start the series with the arrest of Dahmer and therefore to show everything that follows in the form of flashback. What a bad idea. Now on episode seven and I think I'm going to drop out.

Monster season 1

Evan Peters is impressive as the wimpy yet calculating serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, in this top-notch 10-part miniseries. Atmosphere drawing, camera work and use of sound and music are of a very high level. Almost even better than Peters is Richard Jenkins as Dahmer's father. He is the emotional heart of the series and really creates an unforgettable character here. Unfortunately, after the first six sublime episodes, the focus shifts a bit to a number of less interesting characters and developments, after which it all becomes less interesting.

Monster season 2

Those actors who played Lyle and Eric have already won an award! The worst acting performances of this year. They really had no talent, and what a terrible series. I felt sorry for my wife, that she watched this misery with me on the couch, she deserves an Oscar. Well presented, but as often terrible execution, this monstrosity will not win any prizes...

Monster season 3

Messy, a complete departure from the true events, Hunnam's Ernie voice, the scandalous portrayal of the second victim (if we don't count the brother) Bernice Worden, Gein's girlfriend who is completely fabricated, the ridiculous ending where Gein supposedly helps arrest Ted Bundy, but especially the sympathy they try to generate for Ed Gein, as if he were merely a victim of his religious mother and his mental illness (he apparently doesn't remember whether he committed the murders). Of course, society is ultimately to blame, not the perpetrator. Why call this "The Ed Gein Story," when almost the entire story is fabricated? I'd rather watch a decent documentary about the life of a serial killer.
