Makta plot
1974, Oslo. The Labor Party is in crisis. The party is torn by a conflict between party leader Reiulf Steen and Prime Minister Odvar Nordli. The alcohol flows, and so do the leaks. At the same time, the socially committed young doctor Gro Harlem Brundtland, who stands up for abortion and ecology, becomes entangled in the political power game. Amid the political chaos, Gro learned the tricks of the trade and in 1981 became Norway's first ever female prime minister.
