Lotte plot

Lotte Pronk, a young woman of modest origin, is a brilliant business economist, graduated cum laude and with a heart of gold. Lotte's biggest flaw is that she's ugly. That's why no one looks at her. Everything changes when one day she goes to apply for a job at the fashion group Emoda in Zaandrecht. There she meets Vico Maesland, the director's son, with whom she immediately falls in love. Although she is 'as ugly as the night' in the beginning, she gradually grows into a real 'swan'.
