Los Gringo Hunters plot
The series is inspired by a newspaper article by journalist Kevin Sieff, which was published in The Washington Post at the time. A group of local businessmen and politicians promote the Nueva Tijuana project to make the city more attractive to everyone. Meanwhile, a special unit within the Mexican police, the gringo hunters, tries to capture fugitive American criminals who have crossed the border.
