Lijn 32 plot

Bus line 32 on a weekday morning in Amsterdam. Different people get in, each with their own destination. At that time, an important right-wing politician has to testify in a case involving an Antillean woman in court. Just in front of the courthouse, the bus crashes with all the passengers on board. The moment he hits the asphalt in a shower of sparks, the glass front in the courthouse comes in through the explosion. The politician survives, but outside the bus is ablaze. Then the series goes back in time six weeks and we follow the ten passengers in eight episodes until they come together again in the last episode.

Lijn 32 season 1

For those who expect an exciting thriller series, it is absolutely NOT! It is a fine drama series that fits in well with the zeitgeist and hangs several small stories about the attack on a bus. The right-wing Netherlands will start screaming again that it is leftistism made with subsidy money, but if you look closely at the series, you will mainly see a humanistic message about how we should all get it together in this country. Although the final episode, in which ''a PVV'er'' shoots a Moroccan man and blows up the bus , was not necessary either.
