The French president has been assassinated and far-reaching political intrigue ensues, with all cabinet members clamoring for power. The spin doctors spring into action, each for their own candidate. The former president's spin doctor joins the social affairs minister, who urges the French prime minister to hold elections quickly. The latter, in turn, also wants to become president.
