Land Girls plot

'Land Girls' was the nickname for young women who left home and hearth during the Second World War to keep British agriculture going as members of the Women's Land Army. We follow the adventures of four of these brave ladies: the down-to-earth Annie, her cheerful sister Bea, the clumsy Joyce and the cool Nancey. The lives of these city girls are turned upside down when they go to work in the countryside overnight. They mature quickly and become friends for life. During the day they work side by side with prisoners of war. They spend their free time together in a dormitory with primitive facilities. As they wait for news about their loved ones, danger threatens from all sides. And that danger doesn't just come from the enemy.
