Knutby plot

In the summer of 1999, the searching Anna moves to Knutby, a small village not far from Stockholm, to start a new life in the tight-knit Pentecostal community. The charismatic leadership of the congregation preaches that the second coming of Christ will take place in their small village and when it does, he will take a bride with him. Slowly, the community's idyllic facade crumbles to reveal a sex cult and a sinister web of intrigue, in which a dangerous commitment to faith drives Anna to murder in the name of the Lord.

Knutby season 1

It is certainly not the best Swedish series, but it was good to watch. Enough series have been made about sects and this one can certainly be added, even if it takes a while before it becomes really interesting, but I would definitely watch it anyway, Scandinavian series are usually worth it, I am a regular fan in every one.....
