Sadder and wiser. It helps that the characters in the third season of 'Knokke Off' become painfully aware of the consequences of their own choices. What you lose of yourself when you constantly have to meet the expectations and plans of others. Where privileges do not protect against the lonely feeling of not being appreciated for who you really are. Louise (Pommelien Thijs), in particular, undergoes a fine development as someone learning to live with bipolar disorder. In this third season, too, she is the warm and human heart of the series. It is all a bit far-fetched and illogical, though. It is, after all, yet another one of those modern series where shifts in loyalty seem to be an end in themselves, even if they aren't always entirely logical.
