Juliet plot
In this Flemish police series, Juliet Dumon returns to the coast after the death of her father to care for her niece. While she looks for a foster home for the girl, she temporarily works for the local police department. But when a teenager is found in the canal with a stone at her feet, it immediately becomes clear that Juliet still carries a large dose of unresolved trauma about the death of her mother.

Quite enjoyable: the atmosphere in a wintry De Haan, the acting of the always excellent Charlotte De Bruyne and the calm tone.
Furthermore, an unsurprising police officer, where the crime cases do not cut deep enough and are solved before you even start to care about them.
Compared to the beautiful second season of Beau Séjour, which takes place a little further away in Zeebrugge, this is rather poor, but I would enjoy a sequel.

A 3-case series.
In many police series, in addition to the crime itself, some attention is also paid to the detective and his personal problems, but when, as in this "Juliet", this becomes, as it were, the main theme and the unraveling of the three murders suffers greatly as a result. then one can hardly speak of a well-developed series.
It even goes so far that twice a character from Juliet's acquaintances or family becomes involved in the murder cases , which does not improve credibility.
Little real tension and therefore not very interesting.
A disappointment.
