In the Flesh is about Kieren, a teenager who has IBS, partially deceased syndrome, and has also been brought back from his death. In The Flesh takes place after a zombie apocalypse. When a cure is found, they try to bring the infected zombies back to the normality of humanity.

Not a horror at all but this series does not pretend to be despite the subject. It is actually more about social issues such as prejudice, exclusion, that people mainly react from their gut purely because they fear what they do not know and that people who feel excluded are more likely to radicalize. So basically very human themes for a show about undead. Still very original in itself. Well acted. As long as you don't expect a heavy horror, I don't think this will disappoint very quickly. I will definitely watch the 2nd season. I'm curious how it will continue, that's a good sign. Although I still had to get into the 1st episode. This season only has 3 episodes so if you are not sure if this is for you then I would just give it a try. It's not such a huge time investment. This one gets a solid 3.5 stars from me.
