Honour plot

Based on the true story of 20-year-old Londoner Banaz Mahmod. Her upcoming marriage had been arranged by family, and she was severely abused in this relationship. In addition, she fell in love with another man. This led to her relatives ordering her to be killed as a form of 'honour killing'. Police Inspector Goode also finds out that Banaz had been to the police on five occasions to report threats against her by her relatives. Banaz's death and the story surrounding it affect Goode so much that she vows not to rest until justice comes to the late Banaz.
