The holiday season between Thanksgiving and New Year’s is often seen as a festive time to spend with friends and family. However, that’s not always the case, as the time of year is not immune to the same types of violent crimes that occur throughout the year. This series documents the tragedies that occurred during the holiday season, with firsthand accounts from people whose friends or family members were murdered during the joyous time. Sometimes the victim is murdered by someone close to them, such as a case of sibling rivalry that turned deadly, but other times the murder is committed by a stranger who rudely interrupts a holiday gathering.
