We follow the adventures of young Hetty who lives in a Victorian orphanage and fights daily battles against Matron Bottomley and gang leader Sheila. Hetty makes friends and discovers untold stories and truths about her past as she searches for her real mother. The series is based on the book of the same name by Jacqueline Wilson.
