GR5 plot

Four friends decide to walk down the Grote Routepad number 5 as a tribute and memory of their mutual friend Lisa. It disappeared without a trace five years ago when she followed the same walking route on her own, 2000 kilometers long from the North Sea to Nice. What happened to her? Did she have an accident? Did she take her own life? Or was something done to her? It has never been clarified. Michiel, Zoë, Ylena and Asim hope to gain more clarity along the GR5.

Mwa, the series could go on, but still a little too little for a Sunday evening. The emotional impact wasn't that great, it didn't affect me as much, not as I expected or hoped. The acting wasn't particularly memorable and the plot twists and motivations of the characters were either over-the-top, out of place or illogical and the events didn't affect the characters as much as you'd normally expect. The premise of the series isn't bad, but the execution isn't great. The series wants to 'go deep' but a shovel is not a spade. Just enough.
