Fremvandrerne plot

Beforesigners follows a new phenomenon that is occurring all over the world. Powerful flashes of light loom in the ocean and people of the past appear. They come from three separate periods: the Stone Age, the Viking Age, and the late 19th century. No one understands how this is possible and the people of the past called "Beforeigners" have no memory of what happened. Only one thing is certain: they keep coming and there is no turning back. A few years later, Alfhildr, who hails from the Viking Age, teams up with police officer Lars Haaland as part of a police integration program. As they investigate the murder of a beforeigner, they begin to unravel a larger conspiracy behind the origins of the mysterious arrivals.

The first season took some getting used to, but already has the same quality as many Scandinavian crime series, despite the somewhat strange undertone. The second season rises above this again because of the ingenious plot. Simply another great series with a top Scandinavian cast where the story of the second season was even more fascinating than that of the first season. Bring on the third season!
