Fenris plot

This series takes the viewer to a Norwegian village near the border with Sweden. There, in a remote forest inhabited by wolves, a boy disappears without a trace. Immediately rumors spread that he was killed by wolves. But is that true? Biologist Emma Salomonsen, who happens to be nearby, starts to have doubts when she discovers the boy's bloodied coat in the house of her father, a controversial wolf researcher. Does he have anything to do with it? She doesn't have long to ask, because soon he disappears without a trace. Emma must therefore do everything she can to trust her instincts and her knowledge to uncover the truth once and for all. Who knows, this is just the beginning, and it won't be long before the next victim falls.

Fenris season 1

The wolf, a current topic: still in the news today because of a silent protest in southwest Drenthe. In this series they tackle the 'wolf' problem in a less neat way. Yet it is a fine series from Scandinavian soil. A good plot, put down by a great cast and filmed in a beautiful setting. The first three episodes have a reasonable pace, but episode 4 is quite soporific, after which the tension increases towards the last part. Fairly predictable who is behind the various incidents, but a pity that a number of characters, who were decisive for this, were no longer featured towards the end, for example Daniel's stepfather. In any case, the whole had an acceptable playing time, so it didn't get boring, despite the dip halfway through.
