Diamant plot

Thomas has been married to Hester for thirty years and together they have three children: Anton, Marion and Boris. Anton is the most likely successor to his father and is married to Janneke. Marion and Boris still live with their parents and experiment with everything their rich life has to offer. The first hairline cracks appear in the family portrait when Thomas begins a secret affair with Eliza. When the family comes into possession of "The Blue Devil" through an unfortunate transaction, it seems that disaster can no longer be averted. This infamous and much too precious diamond has a reputation of bringing bad luck to its owner. The family does everything they can to get rid of the stone, which is not as easy as it seems.
