Dag & Nat plot

Ward midwife Ella runs the best maternity ward in Denmark. Together with her team, they fight daily to give mothers, newborns and family members the best possible treatment, despite the severe staff shortage. The close-knit team goes to work with conviction and beautiful ideals, but the mental and physical strain often pushes them to the limit. At the same time, she does everything she can to suppress her growing feelings for the married pediatrician Jerry.
