Cristo y Rey plot
Madrid, 1979. Ángel Cristo is the best circus tamer in the world. Bárbara Rey, actress and icon, is Spain's most desirable woman. They fall in love with each other and eventually it leads to the wedding of the year. Their marriage soon becomes a multi-million dollar business with lots of money, fame and luxury. Behind the spotlight, however, lurks drug addiction, assault, gambling and infidelity problems. For example, Barbara has an affair with a powerful statesman.
