Council of Dads plot

When Scott, a doting father of four, sees his entire life plan shattered by a cancer diagnosis, he enlists some of his friends to act as backup fathers for every stage of his growing family's life. Scott gathers around a trusted group of role models: Anthony, his oldest friend, Larry, his AA sponsor, and Oliver, his surgeon and best friend of his wife Robin. These men agree to be committed to supporting and guiding Scott's family through all the triumphs and challenges life has to offer in case Scott is no longer there to do it himself.
