Absolutely commendable that NPO is doing its best to reach a younger target group with new formats. Better to go all the way in the face than those milked-out biopics about politicians and public figures all the time. Yet this found footage meets crime drama just fails to hit the right note. It actually already goes wrong when Robert de Hoog opens his throat and makes an attempt at a Danish accent. Maarten Heijmans and Sallie Harmsen are too 'theatre school acting' to convey the raw, gloomy atmosphere. The misplaced character actors in a 'realistic setting' make it a laughable guilty pleasure, but the competition with American Netflix toppers is no match.
