The series follows Pu Yiyong, a delinquent high school student who inherited his grandfather's excellent calligraphy skills. After a tragic bus accident leaves him in a coma for two years, he awakens to discover he has the ability to see spirits and help them through the power of his written word. Along with the inexperienced policewoman Chen Chuying and his high school rival Cao Guangyan, the three embark on a fantastical and bizarre journey.
