It started so well! Crazy first episode, middle part I also liked but from episode 6 it really got mwah with a terribly dull ending.

I must join you. From episode 5 the pudding collapses. Until then it is really enjoyable with a lot of originality and a fantastic protagonist. All the actors play very well, but she is really well cast. Too bad it has to end with a few off-notes, but I'm already looking forward to the next work from these makers.

An original, delightfully eccentric miniseries about a promising director (Rosa Salazar) who moves to Los Angeles in 1990, determined to direct her first film. There, her dream project quickly turns into a nightmare. By turns funny, gruesome, and terrifying, with superb performances from Salazar, Catherine Keener, and Eric Lange. The sparse plot occasionally falls a bit short, but the script is packed with so many bizarre details and wacky characters that you'll mostly be left breathless as everything and everyone goes wonderfully off the rails. It's somewhat reminiscent of David Lynch's work, but ultimately, it's truly its own thing.
