Borderline plot
Detective Philip Boyd of the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) is strict, teetotal and a Presbyterian. Detective Aoife Regan is a big mouth, unashamedly gay and unwillingly so. In other words, each other's opposites. However, they are forced to work together to solve a serious crime. They rarely agree on anything and get off to a rocky start. As the investigation progresses, however, they unexpectedly begin to form a formidable crime-fighting duo.
