Ángela plot

From the outside, Ángela leads a seemingly idyllic life: she has two wonderful children, a charming husband, and a spectacular house. This facade, however, is deceptive, and maintaining it becomes increasingly difficult. Angela is, in reality, a woman abused by an obsessive husband who has convinced her that she would be nothing without him. Until one day, Edu appears, an attractive young man who reveals her surprising secrets and is willing to help her by banishing him from her life.

I thought this was pretty good for a Spanish series. The only thing that drives me crazy is the little details that always seem off. Most people aren't bothered by it, but I find it unacceptable! They hand out all these white cups, one for medication and one for water. You can see from miles away that there's nothing in them, and they even film inside the empty cups. Let us have a nice hot coffee, from empty bags that don't steam, etc., etc.

The Basque coast is truly fantastic, highly recommended, but the weather can be quite bleak at times...

I especially thought Sanchez acted well...

Spanish series often grab me. This miniseries did just that. The first episode took me a while to get into, but from episode 2 onwards I was completely engrossed in the story. I was also glad this one had 6 episodes instead of 4, because otherwise it often feels rushed. This one took a lot of time to get to know the characters, and the buildup to the more exciting scenes was very neat. You're really thrown back and forth, which I really love.

I felt the mystery and the suspense, and they managed to maintain it until the very end. Sure, there are always things that could be improved, but for a miniseries like this, I still think it's all cleverly conceived.
