Amour Fou plot

Rebecca and Romain, a young couple in their thirties, seem to have everything their heart desires in life. They have moved to a quiet neighborhood in a small town with the intention of starting a family, but are struggling to have children. When Romain's unstable younger brother Mickael moves into the house across from them and reveals that he will soon become a father, tensions rise. The situation takes a turn for the worse when Mickael is revealed to be abusing his partner, who disappears after a violent argument. Rebecca blames Mickael, but is that right?
