One in five people develop dementia. That means that everyone will come into contact with it at some point in their life, whether it is a neighbor, your parents or yourself. In this four-part series, Adelheid Roosen and Hugo Borst immerse themselves in the Afrikaanderbuurt, a very diverse working-class neighborhood in South Rotterdam with many elderly people. After all the lessons that Adelheid and Hugo have learned from the series 'In De Leeuwenhoek', this time they are investigating how people with dementia are doing now that they live at home longer.
